Symmetry

We have been learning about symmetry.
We have found different things around the school that are symmetrical.
Made symmetrical patterns and pictures.
Did you know some things have more than one line of symmetry?

Snowflakes usually have more than one line of symmetry. Today we made snowflakes from iceblock sticks. Each of the iceblock sticks were worth a different amount.

Our job was to make our snowflake worth a certain number and make it symmetrical.

  1. What a clever idea Mrs H! And what clever mathematicians you have in room 5! I had fun finding the lines of symmetry!
